This remote operates on a 390 MHZ Frequency, and works on models from 1984-1992 essentially. It has a set of 9 three position dip switches that you match up with your existing opener. A 12V battery and visor clip are included along with instructions. Also, the Sears Craftsman compatible wireless keypad is model number Liftmaster 66LM if you need to get a keypad.
